Battery issue

Hello All,

Im new here and have a question about my 2015 2500 C6.7
The truck would not start yesterday so I charged the batteries and checked the charging system. Everything checks out properly. Alternator charging at 14v and batteries are at 12.8 volts with truck off.
The batteries are original with a production date of 10/14. Im thinking that they might be bad but wanted some suggestions. Up until yesterday I have not had any starting or battery issues.

The only proper way to test the batteries is to load test them separately.

Yep, get them load tested. That said, if I were a betting man, I'd say they are bad. My 2015 batteries just went out two months ago, no real early indicators, just didn't start one day (on vacation of course). It seems that getting over four years out of them is pretty good.

Im charging them now to load test them, As long as its not some current draw that just started I'm also thinking its the batteries but will confirm with a load test.

Yours lasted longer then mine did. Here is AZ the heat kills batteries. I was told if one is bad, replace them both.

Batteries where bad, one was only at 360cca the other at 530cca.
New pair of advance agm batteries installed.

I will be replacing my 15 batteries soon before they go bad.

My 2016 3500 had one bite the dust last week. I replaced both, kept the good one for another task. But now my glowing red battery icon stays lit up, any ideas on that ? Truck starts bang-bam immediately when the key is turned. Voltage shows good in the EVIC.

Just replaced my 15's batteries with Interstate from Costco. Finished the install and noticed a small tag "MADE IN MEXICO"
