Battery Issues

My passenger side battery started venting acid and is extremely hot. I checked the alternator output 13. 9- 14. 6 and the driver side buttery appears to be ok...

Any thoughs or ideas

I had the same problem last year on my 03. I disconnected the passenger side battery and got by with using the driver side battery for a few days. I then replaced both batteries. Suspect you will have to do the same.

Passenger side battery is most likely shorted, like said above, replace both.
