Battery load testers

I am looking for a battery load tester, but I dont need anything like snap-on or Matco. Something like this or similiar... not neccessarly digitial either

i have a older analog version of that from matco that's been doing fine for years, most of the major tool companys just rebadge tools like that instead of building their own. id prefer a analog over a digital myself

Check the ratings on your battery and be sure the tester you buy will fill the bill. The electronics of battery load testers are much advanced over the last few years and are able to perform functional checks much better than the old ones.



The testers that run around $250+ can do a bunch of test that provide much better indication of battery health.



Again I recommed you at least buy one that is capable of testing to or beyond the specs on your battery.
