I would like to move the batteries to either the cargo bed or mount them on the frame in a battery box to make room for twins and keep them away from the extra heat. Is a relocation kit offered or has anyone already done this that can steer me in the right direction. Thanks, love the site.

I'm not aware of any relocation kit, but fabricating your own would be a piece of cake. I'd recommend welding cable, since it's nice and flexible. 3/0 should work nicely!

Post pictures when you've got it working!

You don't say where your from... My concern would be very cold climates and the batteries never getting warmed up... . at below something like 30*F the batteries have 1/2 their cranking power..... with the truck plugged in or running at least they get warm and stay that way part of the time... .

Good point. In a cold climate you'd probably want to heavily insulate the batteries during cold weather.

Or, get a couple of these! Over 1000 amp at 0°F!

That's what I want!
