2006 2500 4x4. The battery saver function used to turn off any lights left on in about ten minutes. This included headlights and interior lights. Now it shuts things off in about five
seconds.
Parts guy at Peterson Stampede Dodge at Nampa, Idaho, where I bought the truck called Chrysler to no avail. He put his helper on to monitor the "hold" and he went back to the shop. Neither they nor Chrysler could find where or what the timer was that controls the function. Parts guy came back and filled us in that it was integrated into one of two possible circuit boards. It would cost $95 for a diagnostic foray to determine which board and the estimate was $900 to replace it.
Anybody out there figured out how to bypass the thing so the interior lights stay on when the door is opened?
Thanks. Brad Nelson
