My 98 is getting tired, I mean the batteries are getting tired;)

while killing time in walmart the other day I looked up my truck in there books. NOTHING LISTED.

So today I call my buddy at the parts store, he says "there standard group 27 batteries"

Is this "group 27" true? he will sell me a Deka 6 year for 63. 37, but if its a standard 27 I will look around some before buying one.

Once I replace the truck battries I need a group 41 for my 98 Jetta TDI. Looks like my "diesel fleet" is getting old:(

I got a couple of Optima batteries in my truck. The stock battery leaked and was causing my terminals to corrode. I'll never go back to a "regular" non-sealed battery again.

You can get them at Costco for 99. 00 for a brand new one.
