2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Battery terminals

I am getting ready to hook up my winch cables from a previous Ram. In my old truck I had a battery with dual terminal post. I hate to go and buy two new batteries right now, so has anyone got any ideas on differant terminals so I can hook up some extra wires to factory terminals. Thanks if anyone can understand what I'm talking about and can help me, JC

The military grade battery connectors from Wrangler NW Power Products give you lots of options. Their drawback is that they require modification of the OEM cables.

I did not want to change the factory cables, but I may have to. Would it hurt to just replace one battery? JC

What I've done before is drill and tap 1/4" or 5/16'' NC holes into the top of the battery terminal (not the clamp) then screw a stud in. Mark your bit with tape so you don't go too deep.
