Had to buy two new batteries for the RV. Bought them at Sam's Club and they had dates of April, 2016. Checked the water and hooked them up to two separate battery chargers. Both chargers have a few years on them but have no reason to think to think they are defective. At the tail end of the charge cycle with the charger still hooked up, one battery read just less than 13 volts and the other one read 1.5 volts higher. After they had sat for a few hours the voltage was almost exactly the same (12.8) on both batteries.
Is this just a difference in battery chargers?
What should be the correct voltage on a battery still hooked up to a charger at the end of the charge cycle?
