Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Battery Wire

I am looking for the positive and negative battery cable wire size, including the smaller wires? I have had both negative battery cable clamps crack.

I am going to redo my battery cables, because they look ugly, previous owner never cleaned terminals. I will use 2/0 welding cable for the batts, 6 ga. for the power dist. and grounds. I always use the same size or thicker wire than stock.

Sorry that I don't remember the name of the maker but (someone ) makes a very good threaded connector for batteries. It should or would be avaliable at a automotive store! It threads into the main part of the terminal , the threaded nut that has slots that compress the cable and makes a very good connection use lots of dielectric grease or vaseline. I still have one made up for my previous 93 trucks battery. Hope this helps.

The cables are all 1/0 with the exception of the cable from the driver's side battery to the starter which is 2/0. The wires are an assortment of sizes.
