Okay,
this may sound like a dumb question, but I have to ask it. How flammable is grease like you use for bearings? The reason I ask is that I am having problems with my batteries. I think the last person who owned the truck used grease on the terminals to keep the corrosion at bay. Well, it's not working and the grease has made a huge mess. I live in AK and need some heat for my batteries, but I'm concerned that if I plug the heater pads in they may cause a fire! I am desperate to get this figured out. I have decided that I need new batteries anyways, but I want sealed instead of these I have now that are not sealed. Are the sealed batteries not any good? It just seems so much easier to me if they can't leak. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
