Well this weekend I finally got the stacks installed no more 5" 90 degree elbow at the pulls

I had the redneck special installed at Johnny Franklins in Santa Rosa yesterday and today I fine tuned it, (cut 5" off the top was to high for me) and painted the whole thing with high temp black paint you cant see the stacks untill you are almost parallel with the truck and they are even hard to see from directly behind the truck (till the smoke rolls out) The sound is awesome, I had been choking the HT3B down to a 4" pipe, no more she is all 5" now.

Hey, I like it! Different, heck, they look like part of a pipe rack set up if you don't look at it good. Very stealthy. Good job!

Hey Scott, is your stack system a whole new one or did you retain parts of your old 4 inch system? Is there a big difference in sound from your old JRE exhaust and the stacks? Okay one more ?, does the smoke come out evenly between the stacks? Thanks!

I didn't use anything from the JRE set up, as it was all 4", the new system is all 5" right off the HT3B. Big difference in sound, not only going fropm 4" to 5" but now I am stright piped, much louder. Yes the smoke does come out evenly, I was insitant on that, if you go back to the album you will see a pic of the "Y" we actully sliced it open and welded a plate in there to divert half the exhaust flow.

Great Job.

I have a 2002 3500 4x4, H. O. 6-speed , & have duel 5" stack to install soon. I will be going from the stock 4" down tube from the stock turbo, to 5" all the way through. Will the sound or harmonic vibration make my truck very loed inside the cab? I won't be running a muffler at all.

Thanks so much for your time.

Dan V.

P. S. Great photo's

Yep, nice and loud :D changes from a deep tone to a whistle at highway speed with the twins :D

I love it

Bodybomber: yes that is the wastegate as blair pointed out.

Thanks "B"

B B D ... WHERE DID YOU GET A 5'' DOWN PIPE ,,,,,

WILL IT FIT A B1 ??WAS IT HARD TO INSTALL THE 5'' DOWN PIPE? IT LOOKS REAL TIGHT... YOUR TRUCK KICKS A$$

THANK'S... ... ... ..... THE CONCRETE GUY

hey BBD ... my 4 year old son stopped dead in his tracks when he saw the picture of your truck pop up ...

"ohhhh dad that is the coolest truck i've ever seen" made his day

you're not going to muncie are you ?

Theconcreteguy: My 5" down pipe came with the EEP twin turbo kit, alot of vendors are selling them though I would give EEP and or Piers a call for starters, most of the exhaust shops that deal with after market 5" exhaust systems should have them fit is great, no problem at all.

2broke2smoke: I am glad your son likes the truck the kids in the niehborhood here go crazy over it as well, I was actully signing autographs at the Ukia pull last year it was at the fair, couldn't believ that one.

I won't be making TIM as it is the same day that my duaghter graduates from High School down eleizbeth City NC. Sucks, but I have to set my priorties.
