So, i bought a BD high idle kit and the install is more than the simple plug & play of the BD throttle sensitivity booster i installed 3 years ago.

I have to connect a wire to the BCM (pin 31 WH/VT) which is ( i believe) a white/violet wire coming out if the BCM and is labeled as connector C5/E.

Where is the BCM and what does it look like? Is it under the dash inside the truck or under the hood on the firewall?

Anyone have a picture of the BCM and or a diagram?

Thx!

After poking around, i found this.

I think i don't have time this weekend for this install, i also have to run a line to the crank position sensor.

So i will postpone this install probably a few months.

If anyone has advice about this install and the crank position sensor, the advice is welcome. It seems the instructions cover several decades of heavy duty rams as well as ecodiesel and GM models. So the instructions are somewhat vague as to when it is talking about a duramax and which LP/LZ version of duramax as well as several ram models.
