BD 4" Remote Brake Rattle

Hi All,



My BD 4" Remote brake rattles pretty bad while idling. Seems like it's just the linkage on the vacuum soloid. It's not hurting anything but it's pretty loud and annoying outside the cab or with the window open. Anyone else had this problem and managed to somehow fix it? I'm thinking the only way to cure this is take it apart and maybe fit some bushings into the linkages so it fits a little tighter.

I used to have the same rattle and the fix was to make a bracket from the vacum can to the body with a spring.

Why didn't I think of that. I guess all I need to do is come up with something (like you did) to hold it from rattling.

Good idea, both my trucks with the bd remote mount do that. I usually just turn up the radio, but that's a great idea
