Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) BD boost fooler kit OK alone?

I purchased and installed the BD Boost fooler kit (fooler and elbow) in anticipation of installing an early VA box. Is it OK to run as is without the VA box? I'm assuming that with stock fueling and about 28lbs. of boost @ WOT I'll be OK.

Correct me if I'm wrong please... ... ...

no problem Bill, word of caution on older used va boxes. there have been a couple of dead ones sold lately that I know of

Hey Bill i couldn't use my elbow without the VA box because it was blowing codes. Had to have the box hooked up to use elbow. Good luck with the VA box mine worked good at first but later on it gave the truck alot of problems. But i can't prove it.
