Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) BD Boost Fooler

Hey Everyone,



I just installed my BDIII's, and am now trying to hook up my boost fooler. I just got the fooler yesterday. It is a BD-Power piece, and I would like to know if anyone has a part number for the boost fooler from BD for a 2002, or can tell me a trick to hook this one up. The fooler appears to be the incorrect part, it doesn't look like it will plug into the MAP sensor at all. I, in fact, attempted to plug in the fooler, and was unable to. Any help is appreciated. No, unfortuantely, I have not been able to get my fooler in, because I think that it is the wrong part number, but need someone elses to ID the piece. The place that I ordered from is not open right now, but hopefully I can contact them tom. There was someone else that just inastalled DDIII's and a boost fooler and had a thread started in the 24valve forum. Sounds like it works pretty good, just another reason I can't wait to get mine in!James

I just put bd3 in and a boost fooler with elbo on turbo and I like it alot. I have 4" exhaust and the temps seem to not be all that bad if I stand on it empty. I have got the best of 36# of boost so far But have only driven it 150 mi sience installed. But all in all I like it with my daully it will spin in 3 and some times 4. But all here. Justin

When I talked to them, they said there wasn't a boost fooler for a 2002, and that I would need an adapter to mate a fooler for an '01 to the '02 map sensor.

The MAP sensor plug configuration changed from 2001 to 2002. Adapters are available from Edge Products (among others).
