I've got the BD cool down timer and it's not working right. The brake pedal will not shut the truck down. Been through the wiring twice and it works off the temp setting, just not bake pedal. My brake controller works fine off the same white/tan wire. I've tried two timers too.

Anybody having the same problem? BD said it was the connector, they sent a new one and it does the same thing?

I had the same problem with my BD Cooldown. I sent it back to BD only to be told there wasn't anything wrong with it. I had to pay postage both ways to get it back in the same condition. They offered to look at it again but I wasn't willing to keep paying shipping charges without resolution.

I decided to take matters in my own hands and revised the wiring with a N/C relay in the circuit that opens when the brake is applied, disconnecting the Cooldown. May not be the most sophisticated method but it's been working for more than 10K miles so far.
