98 dodge ram 2500 with a 47re Bd diesel full billet transmission. Was installed by previous owner back in 2007. Has approximately 140,000 mile on transmission and runs just as good as the day I got it almost 8 years ago. I had the truck in for some other work and asked my mechanic to drain the transmission fluid and change the filter. He dropped the pan and contacted me saying some "parts" were in the pan....referring to clutch and possible snap ring. I am not familiar with transmissions as I've no issue in the past. Again...trans seem to be running just fine BUT I've got some pieces laying in the pan...pieces were removed and fluid was changed. Any thoughts or anyone familiar with this?
