Stacked the downloader with the EZ and truck ran fine first day. Made much more power than each one alone. Now the problem is when I get the pedal between 1/2-3/4 throttle. The truck feels like its flooding pretty bad almost to the point it stalls it, and it backfires really bad multiple times like a machine gun. If I hit the throttle all the way down it clears up and takes off like it was rear ended by a semi. The black smoke is really really bad too.

It Doesnt matter what levels the edge or downloader are on. They work fine independtly of eachother but not together. Anyone else experience this or know what the problem is?

Thanks,

Dave

I was wondering if your truck is a ho or so?? I will be getting my bd dl next week. . I also am planing on stacking my edge with it. .

the power pup works with the tourqe dog great. its seems slow to get going with just the power pup like it just dont want to make much low rpm power but with the tourqe dog it sure wakes up the program.

the tourqe dog and the ez should be the same, have you called bully dog and ask about this prob??

-To stack the EZ, you have to put the DL on first and then the EZ.

I stacked my EZ (50 HP) and DL (130HP) last night. First I stacked them w/my EZ already on, didn't feel much difference-40 PSI. Then I took the EZ off, put the DL to stock. Then I put the DL on Extreme and noticed a bit more power-43 PSI. Then I stacked the EZ and felt a LOT more power-47 PSI, and I let off.

The truck is a HO 6 speed. I called bullydog and they told me they don't reccomend stacking another box with the downloader

What puzzles me is when I stacked them, it worked great the first day with no hiccups and now its giving me fits :(

I have checked everything from the fuel filter to the prongs on the connectors. One weird coincidence is that first day it ran good stacked, I had the outlook monitor hooked up. However I noticed the boost and mph functions wern't working so when I removed it to return it, I noticed the weird behavior. As soon as I get a new outlook monitor, I will attempt to restack them so I can defuel it on the fly to avoid any damage and pray that it solves the problem.

I am running the Downloader with the TST on two's and three's and a Dr. P 85 hp. Predator fueling box, no problems whatsoever. I have a switch to turn the Dr. P on and off, usually off (hard on fuel system) and then I can turn the TST up from 0's to 2's if I need (want) even more. Most powerful combo yet is all three together. TST on 4 and 2 even worked just fine. No misses, just redline.

I have had an EZ on my truck, level 6, since I drove it off of the dealers lot. I installed the DL yesterday on the eXtreme level and the only thing that didn't work was my clutch. Con OFE here I come.....

Blake,

The downloader does not know the EZ is on there. You can install it either way... . No difference.
