Vaughn, count me in... I will BOMB up there with ya... I'm betting there are a few more that will "sign up". BD does have good specials... bring some cash! We can do the mods at my house on your way home! Last October, we had fun BSing on the CB on the way up, and the CB saved me a tour of the abbottsford area! Highly recommended if the Prez leads... .

*LOL*

For the LAST time, I was taking the scenic route! Man, this time I am going to be flying solo... No crazy, whacked out, nutso girlfriend to distract me... Kinda funny, I have driven through 40 states and never had a problem with directions. But the one time a chick is with me, I get "mislocated. "

Seriously, CB's are a must for the convoy. Look for an update on my site on Sunday night regarding the BOMBvoy up to Abbotsford. #ad

Geez... I can't believe you guys... I try to stay neutral... . Evan calls me sparky, Mike calls me a stooge and takes a swing at me with the "bat" thing, and John wants to shame me on the dyno! What's with all that???
Now Vaughn will probably put a sign in his window saying "H. O. Cummins"!!
LMAO!
I'll still go... with a smile on my face!

Rob, are you sure your gonna BOMBvoy up for that? Maybe swing wide and I'll hook up with ya on my way there. HEHEHEH I will not put my HO ETH sticker on the window... it could impair my visibility.

Hey, there are plenty of shops here in Pasco that would be glad to "customize" my Ram for me, then no one would possibly mistake it for Evans: Slam it, throw on a set of tru-spoke wheels with 295/50/15" rubber, full complement of fiberglass body add-ons, ground effects, spoiler, limo TV antenna, curb feelers, Ram's Head taillight lens covers, dark tinted windows, etc. How about adding hydraulics? I could do all sorts of neat tricks--hop the back end up and down, stand on 3 (or even 2) wheels, and . . .

Hey Rob, I've got to admit your Ram runs really strong. I thought it was kind of funny though, when I rode with you on your baseline and enhanced performance runs; I've never seen anyone row a truck (6-speed) shifter faster than you! What with the 4. 10 gears and all, by the time you shoved her into fifth or sixth (I lost track, I was mesmerized by your blistering shifting speed), I thought we must have been doing over a hundred mph... I could hardly believe my eyes #ad
when the speedometer showed 15 mph! LOL #ad

I better not make poor old Rob too upset, I may need another ride to Dyno Days just in case I experience technical difficulties. . AGAIN! #ad

Evan and Vaughn: I thought the first of the two Rams ordered by Evan was Patriot Blue (now Vaughn's) and the second one Dark Garnet (Evan's), both with the lower two-tone, Light Driftwood. Is this correct? #ad

OBTW Vaughn, since you aren't getting the keyless entry feature on your Ram may I suggest a better alternative... Mopar offers their EVS II alarm system which incorporates this feature (as well as many others) into their modular system. What's trick about this system is that it plugs into the existing wiring beneath the dash. One yellow wire has to be T-tapped into an existing OE yellow wire plus a wire to the siren has to be run. A very trick, high quality system! I'm very impressed with mine. Several other (optional) features can be purchased with this system. Look in the main Mopar parts catalog at your dealer (parts department). #ad

John... here I was reading your post, thinking that I had done good, and then I get to the part about 15mph... laughed my butt off! Guess I'm going to have to buy the "keep up with the Jones' boost module and brass elbow fitting".
Hey, how did we get here... Let's get this darn thread back on track... .

Dyno Days BOMBvoy! I would hate to be a PSD driver headed north that day... he will be so ashamed... and not know he has been BOMBed!

Hey John,
Evan wanted Dark Garnet Red but they told him it was too late to change, but we'll have to see when it arrives (hopefully early next week!)
I called my dealership about the EVS II, they want $305 including wiring ($255 for just the kit), and $425 installed. It sounds like a great system, has more features than the Alpine unit I'm looking at (on sale for $275 installed, at about $150 off) and plugs right in whereas the Alpine doesn't. If I go that way, I'll install it myself. I'd rather have an OEM setup.
I think I'll see if there's any threads on the product forum or start a new one about alarms/keyless. I don't like jumping into purchasing products I know little about.

Vaughn

I'll be meeting up with you "Southerners" (King & Pierce county Rammers) at the Denny's on highway 530 (exit 208), right off I-5. I'll have the CB on channel 7.
Andy

John,

Both trucks are Patriot Blue... I tried to change it, but it was too late... I remember saying to my salesman... "How can it be too late? I just ordered the thing a week ago!?!" He then proceeded to tell me it had been built already! LOL #ad

P. S. I sent Evan a picture of my new truck but sense he does not seem to be around I don't know how long it will take him to post it on his web site.
