It was definately worth the trip!

Got a great quote on a BD Exhaust Brake installed with shifter switch (installed was cheaper than the GP price). BD told me that they would hold the price for 90 days with nothing down, after that if I wanted to put something down they would hold the price until next summer. (Got to get HP first then the brake. Shooting for 400 HP. )

Plus they gave me a rain check on a Dyno Run.

Trophy girl? Heck, post her pic and cut out Piers! (sorry Piers, but we all have to have priorities, and she is bound to be prettier!).

BTW, the pic I posted was not mine... it was from Kevin, known as N7GXZ! He had a digital camera... mine have not been developed yet. I did run out in the road and snap a few tho!

To all you NW BOMBers and your updated rigs, thanks for letting a 1st gener tag along. 'Course being late and last is to be expected from an oldie, no?
An awesome sight and event, not to mention inspiring. Gonna put some $$ in the old girl and maybe keep up next time!

Unexpect fallout from the event: got home and painted the day's picture to my wife. Believe it or not, she said for us to trade in her '94 F... Explorer and get a 2001 DC Quad Cab long bed for her. A little thing to pull a 5er with. And I would get to keep my 1st gener too! Life can't get much better.

Had a great time up there. BD put on quite an event as well as Piers. You had to be there. I always enjoy meeting new TDR members and those Ive met before. Maybe those who did get dynoed could post their numbers on the 24v section. I know I did see some 300hp+ and 700 lbs torque+ readings.

Don't know if this is the proper place to ask this question but... . if one were to take advantage of the BD Dyno Days specials and have some work done by them, does the cost become a taxable event to US Customs when crossing back over the border?

Dyno Day was absolutely fantastic and also all of the people that I met at breakfast and at the event. I am already looking forward to April and the next DYNO DAY. The last one that I attended was rained out and the dyno broke (October of 1999). But it seems that they have that problem solved. I am looking forward to seeing some of you at some of our Cummins uprating meetings. Maybe we can get Evan to work on Chuck Arnold (The Power Shop) to have a gathering of some kind for us???????? Looking forward to next time. #ad

My wife's old 12V pulled 336 @ 2520 and 737 @ 2200. VFI reduced the power for me earlier this year as the EGTs were getting kind of high. Now the truck is just very fast instead of ridiculously fast!
