Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) BD exchange transmissions

Anyone have experience with the BD exchange transmission? I'm doing my homework on rebuilders and simply want any input you might have. DTT won't do business in California (I called and asked) so I'm open to helpful suggestions. The engine will remain stock except for the additon of an Edge EZ.

I dont mean to interrupt your question but just to clarify our CA customer base is pretty extensive and we most certainly do business in CA, however we are pretty specific about how & where things get done to make sure the trucks get set up the way we want them done. So yes , to ensure quality control if our builder does not have control of the re-build & set up as a general rule we dont like to get involved. While we have a couple of shops in Ca we work with I know we dont have one San Diego CA. I am sorry we couldnt be of assistance.
