Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) BD information needed

Hi guys, I have a buddy with a BD Tow-Pro that he will sell for a very reasonable price. I have tried to view the BD web site and check application but cannot. Does anyone know with a reasonable amount of conviction whether or not this box will interchange between a 98. 5 5spd and a 2001 auto? I see from the Edge website that the EZ is a different part number for those years. I could call BD but am embarassed to do that! By the way, my friend has more $$ than I do and is doing some really cool stuff with his truck. I dread the next trip trying to keep up with him!! Look out for driftwood 2nd gens in Northern Md. / Southern Pa. ! Thanks, Greg

According to the BD price sheet, '98. 5 - '00 is a different part number than the '01 number and the '02 if different again.

They had different map sensors and cannot be interchanged. I'm not sure if they have any addapters or anything.

Thanks so much for your time guys. Rluft, you printed what I needed! The good news is that Darrins truck is actually a 2000, my mistake. I may be in luck yet. I'm heading out there today with cash in pocket! If it's a case of plugs absolutely not fitting, the problem will be obvious and that will be the end of the story! I'll let you know! Greg
