bd inline exhaust brake help

Hello guys



I have a 1993 ont ton dually with an inline bd exhast brake. It works with an electric solinoid and a couple of relays. It has let me down a couple of times now. and I would like to replace the electric solinoid with a vacum actuator any suggestion woul be appreciated

You still have to operate a electric valve to control the vaccume. You need to make sure the relays and switches and conections are operating properly before you condem the solinoid.

I need the pressure switch to control the back pressure and just the constant voltage solinoid . Iam not sure where to get the vacum actuator. I also need electical vacum guage to apply the vacum. Iam not sure if it can dump the vacum quick enough to release the flapper. Thanks jim 01
