BD Issue

I received one of the 30% off Gift Certificates at May Madness this year. When I tried to order a Steering Box Stabilizer online. I received a notice from some body called shopatron stating they needed a photo ID, a utility bill from the last 60 days to stating my residence, & other information faxed to them to process my order. Plus they didn't want to honor the 30% off certificate. After calling BD I have to fax about the same info. Has anyone else had this same problem? If you go to shopatrons site you can't register to get on. BD have great stuff but their online ordering sucks. H Westfall

Wow, and you weren't asked for your social security number, copy of tax returns and such
They sure are providing "enjoyable and easy" shopping experience.
Hopefully you'll be able to use your certificate soon.

I don't know what is going on here. Call BD at 800-887-5030 and talk to Harald harks or Chris Oborne in sales; they should be able to take care of you.

I had the same problem. Makes it tuff when you're trying to buy stuff for the truck on the internet without the wife knowing. Finally had to spend 40 minutes on phone in the shower. LOL. At least they spoke english.

Could be worse, you could live in Canada and try to get stuff shipped up here, there is a huge amount of companies that won't do it. You guys may think our money is funny lookin (at least we can tell what everything is) but it all looks the same to visa... ... ... . when I hit "add to cart"... ... ... ...

I've not had any of those problems when ordering from BD or anyone else, but then, I use a cc or PayPal funds when ordering. Must be something new?? I would give them a call. Many use the shopatron, I just ordered something recently form another company and it was via shopatron, no problems whatsoever.

I won one of those two years ago and had no problems at all using it. Call Harold as Joe suggested, he will straighten it out for you.

I finally got it straightened out I only have to fax a copy of the gift certificate to BD. They say that the certificate is had to use at the online store because their order handler Shopatron doesn't it. that should have been explanted to me when I received it. Shopatron wanted Photo ID- Drivers Lic. . Passport or other Gov. Issued photo ID, Proof of address- Utility Bill no more than 60 days old. I don't get a utility bill as we are full time RVers and sending it to our sons address not our mail forwarding address. Plus I couldn't get on their credit card verification site after 3-4 trys. I will E-mail the certificate Monday Harry
