i got a 2001 cummins with edge drag comp and i seen this this BD-Power Turbo Boost Builder

any 1 know any thing about it??? my truck is an automatic so the wastegate has solid line so u cant just block can u???thanks for any input. . Seth

Is it a j-hook? That is what is used on an HY 35 turbo. It hooks on the wastegate actuator with a spring and turnbuckle to hold it shut longer to build more boost.

no its not a j hook it plugs in tothe map sensor they sell them at xtremediesel.com

I seen the advertisment for that too. and i was wondering what that might be. Looks like a simple wire conector, i wonder if it simply is a dummy wire set up to keep from triggering the ECM on high boost. There adertisement claims "it will increast exhaust volume and boost pressure - plus it prevents over boost trouble codes. "

If i had to bet i would assume its just a resistor for the ECM.

i dont know but if it increase's boost pressure it must do something... do you think u can stack it with a box?
