IS ANYONE OUT THERE RUNNING THIS ON THERE 3RD GENS? IS IT A HIGH END FUEL GOV. FOR HIGHER RPM'S SO WE CAN TWIST OUR CUMMINS HIGHER. BD STATES 130 MPH+!! NOT A HUGE BD FAN BUT AT 96 MPH ON MY TRUCK IM OUT OF GEAR, A LITTLE MORE WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Psst. It's not nice to yell (caps) ;) :)

You must have the 4:10s? I think the guys with 3:73s can hit 113 or 117 mph.

I hadn't heard of the gadget you describe but if you get one let us know how it works.

Its on bd's website has pic of second gen truck on box but with 4. 10's and 47RE my 01 would hit 112, 4. 10's and 5600 now im outa gear at 96, and also at that speed my gauges (pyro and boost) jump all around like its getting defueled and refueled to maintain that speed.

sorry for yelling tripple digit speeds excite me!

My truck with 3. 73 and 265 tires would hit 117 easy then it would govern out. I have yet to see what I can get to with 315's.

I'd be careful with the BFG A/T's. They are intended more as a semi-off road tire than a high speed tire. Hate to see one come apart at 120 MPH.

IMHO, if you are going to speed stick with the stock Michellins. Better built than the BFG.

It's real interesting how some of our trucks will go a little faster than others  Vaughn, considering the company you keep, you may be in for a spanking :D

I had my 93 for 10 years, it was bombed but I never got it above 90 mph. It was strong but just felt too unstable. Now, w/ my 03 I've tapped 100 4 or 5 times and it feels as good there as at 60!

That is why I haven't speed tested the 315's yet. I have had them to 100 a couple of times though.
