Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) BD Transmission

I will be needing a transmission soon to replace my stock one.

I am looking for any feedback from those of you who are currently using or have used a BD Transmission and Torque Converter.

Please include (if known) the amount of HP and torque you had.

What made you finally decide on BD?



There are lots of other vendors that sell transmissions...

Why BD?

Local dealer/mechanic I trust and I can have the truck back in one day.



I did not find much when I did a thread search on BD Transmissions and if I did the threads were old.



I have not decided on one brand nor have I ruled out any.



I realize this subject can be very sensitive, so if anyone would just rather PM me instead of a public response that would be fine.
