Anyone w/ an '05 Ram Automatic using this valvebody? They are the only one's making this that is specific to this year only. Please let me know how you like it if you have it. Thanks

I just put in a TC and VB from BD and i think the difference is really good... seems that the rpm are down for the same speed by about 100 to 125 rpm so at 70 I am doing 1900 to 1875, when it used to be 2000rpm... miles have improved over my last trip to PDX with camper on, it looks good... not inexpensive, but I think it will be good overall, maybe a long buy back, but I LIKE IT!!! Getting a new front bumper in the morning from UTE all aluminum, should be cool! Then come some new driving lights while I wait for the new aftermarket headlight assembly for my 04.

Go for the BD stuff!

I installed the BD T/C & V/B along w/ Mag-Hytec DD Trans Pan about six months ago. The shifts are firm and my temps stays around the 130* to 140* city or highway driving (don't do much stop and go city driving).

I agree w/ the post above about the RPM drop compared to the stocker when locking up. It does throw my PCM off by that. It throws the P1740 code. BD and my diesel mechanic says it does that to some trucks and nothing to worry about. Especially a California truck (something to do w/ the PCM's installed on the Cali trucks, emissions I guess). Other than that it shifts fine and throws the power down low. I am happy w/ the set up.
