BD's ISB Boost fooler

The Cummins ISB map sensor monitors the turbocharger boost levels, which can exceed the stock parameters if you have BOMBed your engine.

When you add a set of BD XXX injectors to a engine that has a Plug n Power you need a BOOST FOOLER to keep temperatures down.

The Boost Fooler plugs into the stock Map sensor plug and modifies the signal sent to the ECM When the boost exceeds the stock levels, accompanied by high exhaust temperature or turbo modifications the Boost Fooler will prevent the Cummins Ecm from backing the fuel off.

Engine with just a Plug n Power will experience higher boost levels and cooler exhaust temperatures with the installation of the Boost Fooler.

We have 3 different kits;

‘98. 5-‘00 part # 1055920 This kit has the triangle plugs and includes a flowed waste gate turbo orifice to encourage the waste gate to hold on longer to achieve higher boost

'00-01 part # 1055921 This kit is designed for the HO ISB w/6 speed std. transmission and has a flat plug connection including the calibrated turbo orifice.

‘00-’01 part # 1055922 This kit contains the flat plugs and an X Hook that mechanical clamps the waste gate lever for higher boost levels on the HY35 turbo.

The stock turbo in my truck is the HY35?. And i could add this part on my stock engine (Other then a Psychotty and a 4" turbo to tail exhaust) with no other problems? and see performance gains?

EMDDiesel. The Bost Fooler is for engines that have had there fuel quantity modified. The extra fuel results in higher exhaust temperatures which expand the exhaust gases and have the potential to spin your turbo faster and devlope more turbo boost. But the Ecm cuts the fuel back if to much boost is monitored.

We prevent the fuel from being cut back and allow more turbo boost to be created which adds more oxygen to the combustion chamber for a result of more power but lower exhaust temperature.

On a stock engine you will not see a performance gain. You will see lower EGT's due to more airflow. In order to get more performance (power) you have to add Fuel + Air With the other mods you have listed you have lots of air but no additional fuel. If you have no fueling enhancements with your other "air enhancing mods" there is no need for you to have a Boost Module, until you add a VA, or injectors. All the other boxes come with Boost modules built into them mostly.
