What is the best spray in bed liner? Has anyone ever had a spray in liner under their fender flares to prevent rust? Anyone have it sprayed on the lower part of the door panals?

I have had both styles of spray in bed liners on my two different pick-ups. I had Rhino that fade after one year. Became a gray black color never peeled in the 6 years that I own my truck. My second truck has Line-x and so far this has not faded as of yet. My oldest son has Line-x in his truck for two plus years with no issue as of yet. The reason I went with Line -x was that I went over the rails on this truck since I pull a 5er and do not want to scratch the top of the bed. So I am hoping that the Line- X will not fade and stay black. I think both are good products execpt the Rhino tends to fade.

I had the fender flares coated as well as the rocker panels. After a few years of paint on the fender flares the rocks were getting to is, so I did them as well so that I would not be repainting them in four years again... . hofefully!

My 03 truck was sold new from DAVE SMITH in Idaho and thusly has Turbo-Liner which is based in Idaho... ... . Seems OK, looks very much like Line X... ... .....

Anyway previous owner put softball sized dent in one fender well. I need to try and knock out dent from wheel side. I'm thinking about buying UPOL's RAPTOR product and doing a patch myself. I dont expect for the patch to not show. Its just that the LINE-X etc etc dealers want too much $$$$ for a small patch/repair

Any advice please ???????????

Just got my Line-X installed in my '06 this past weekend. I also had Line-X in my '03. I wouldnt use anything else, definately worth the extra cost for a superior product. I have 2 friends and a relative that had Rhino, they all faded and looked bad after a couple years and one of them was damaged pretty bad with heavy use. I dont like the softer feel of the Rhino.

TradedV-10foraCummins--The flares were on the truck when I bought it so I am not 100% sure who's they are. If I was to take a guess I would say ATS.

While I was doing my research on linings I was told by a previous Rhino liner installer that they no longer used that product because Rhino is only good for brand recognition anymore. They have not updated their product or methods since the conception of the company and that they are just not keeping up with the competion. I had asked Rhino if they had UV protection and they said they sell a liquid that you can brush on when you want it to look nice. I said "I am not going to paint it every time I want it to look nice" and the lady said "no you just brush this liquid on it"... . I said "you mean paint it on"... . she replied "no your not understanding me. "

Kore

Dave 04--The Kore chase system for me is alright. It is a better ride than stock and I am reminded of that every time I ride in a stock truck, but if I were to do it again I would like to make a better attempt at riding in some trucks with the Carli or Lorenz set ups too. Then I would have first hand knowledge of what system works best for me and not have to read so many conflicting posts on which system is better according to someone else. Then make a decision based on someone elses likes.

I got a killer deal on the system and the install so I have no complaints with Kore.
