Bed Swap

I need to replace the Bed on my 2nd Gen 3500 DRW. Due to the fact that rust free DRW beds are super rare i am wondering if there is a difference between a SRW bed and a DRW with the exception of the section that is cut out over the wheel well? my fenders are good and could be used on the new bed if this is the only modification needed. Has anyone done this type of swap?

I turned my previous truck into a single, and cut the old dually fender sections off of the rusted box. There is no other difference other than the cut out wheel opening. I sold those flares and the wheels and bits for the price of a replacement box and steel wheels.
