Been awhile, Update..

I bought my '05 new in about Feb '06.



I am happy to report that the last payment was made today after 6 years and 244,000 miles. This truck has been very reliable and the only major repair was a trans beef up at less than 120,000 miles. This thing runs as good and shifts better than new. Awesome purchase, no regrets and last truck for me!

My old friend Tom. He started at 13 in his Grandpa's Trans shop in Omaha where we met. He is here near Las Vegas for the last 17 years. He's 54 so he's been building them for awhile. He has a shop at his house and the local mechanics bring him bench jobs. He is good.

Jimmy, if you're working in TX James Northrum in Midlothian is a good choice for a Ram transmission rebuild and upgrade. He does DTT builds as light or as tough as you and your wallet want.

He built one for my '06 when I was transporting. He builds a lot of performance transmissions for the race crowd as well as working trucks.

While changing the oil today, I noticed oil leakage from the front and rear mains..... just how it goes I guess.
