Quick Time makes good housings (they are now owned by Lakewood) but I don't see how they would work completely (meaning, providing safety against a clutch or flywheel explosion) with an aluminum block adapter. You also cannot use a block plate because of that adapter. If you get one, carefully check its alignment (as you should do for the stock housing as well) for a 5-speed application. They won't work with 6-speeds because the bell housing is an integral part of the transmission. I use a Quick Time on my Oldsmobile.
