Bellflower trans no longer ATS Dealer

Just a quick note. Larry who owned Bellflower recently sold his business due to his tech of many many years had a bad heart attack. Very sorry to hear but thankfully he has survived it. But Larry closed his business shortly thereafter back in early March.
It has come to my attention as of this last month, July, that he sold his business and with it went his phone number. The owners name now is June and he has led an innocent customer to believe that he is an ATS dealer still, and this is NOT TRUE.
If anyone is in need of a Certified ATS Dealer, you can go to http://www.atsdiesel.com/ats2/dealers.asp and check out the map for the nearest dealer. There are 2 excellent Certified dealers in Calif still. Sutherland Diesel Performance in Palmdale CA and Black Widow Diesel in Santee CA.

I have heard nothing but bad from a few who have used black widow in santee. Do your due diligence before making your shop choice

I didn't post this up to start a brand war, ") I just want people to be warned. I have a customer that bought a truck with an ATS trans in it and he heard on the forums that he should go have them check it out just to make sure it is all ok. Since it was in the truck he bought at a dealer. The new guy who owns Bellflower trans took it out and beat on it for almost an hour, power braking till he broke a sprag. ATS is going to take care of this guy, but these guys told him he needed a new trans. Crooks is what they are, and I just didn't want others to go there thinking they were going to a Certified ATS dealer.
We all have our own opinions. Please don't turn this into a grip fest.

I have a mechanic that I have been dealing with for many years. I was looking at buying a 2008 Ram 2500HD CC 4x4 IL-6 6.7L CTD. The guy that was selling it said it had Trans. Problems, he bought a 2011 Ram. The truck had an ATS trans in it. I called my mechanic and asked him if he knew anything about the ATS Trans. If not where to take it in San Diego County. He was very emphatic "Stay away from Black Widow in Santee." He said I could get better service at AMCO Transmission. (I did not buy the truck) My mechanic was not sure where to get it worked on in San Diego,County. He said he could put a new remanned trans from Jasper in it, but other wise he would not try to fix the ATS Trans.

The man sold the truck to someone from south of the border in Tijuana BC/Mex. I did not buy the truck. I just ordered a new 2016 2500 Big Horn 4x4 CC/LB IL-6 6.7 L CTD.

I have been trying to get my truck in at Mikes Inglewood Transmission of Fullerton for over a month.He says he's buried in trucks waiting for parts, Im having a valve body issue and will probably just pull it out myself and have Suncoast freshen it up for $250. Mikes been coaching me over the phone about the problem. He's still the only one that actually listens to our Dodge transmission issues.


98. 5 Ram 3500 4x4 sport,Auto trans,3:54's autometer,sport comp pyro,trans,boost,electric fuel press. w/snubber,warning light/chime. edge comp drag box,2nd VP-44 inj. pump,carter pusher pump,dual fltr. amsoil.
