8000 LB. STOCK DIESEL 4X4 TRUCKandV-10 and gas trucks over 6500 lbs.

All trucks competing in this class must:



a. Be stock in appearance and floor in bed must be solid.



b. Be powered by OEM diesel or gas engine for make and model



year of the truck.



c. Pump diesel fuel only, no nitrous, propane, alcohol, no water injection, all bottles must be removed. Gas trucks must use pump gas, no alcohol, or race fuel allowed.



d. Have current license plate, registration and insurance card.



e. Have factory-manufactured wheelbase.



f. Be driven to event, no haul in allowed.



g. Available for under hood inspection.



h. Not exceed 8000 lbs with driver maximum.



No dual wheels, studded tires, tire chains, or any tire not intended for street use shall be permitted. Tires must have DOT number on sidewall, no cut tires, and 35" maximum tire height.



All weight must be placed inside bed of vehicle and secured to prevent sliding around in bed. No weight racks, hanging weights or weights in cab. No weight boxes or added front weights.



Original front and rear axles must be used, (raising and lowering of vehicle height with suspension modifications is permitted).



A fully working suspension front and rear is required, no blocked or solid suspensions, no traction bars or spring clamps.



Must have front and rear bumpers unaltered and in factory position, no homemade bumpers. Snow plow-mounting frames and show guards allowed. Must have tailgate or cargo net in place.



The hitch point will be from the rear bumper or from a receiver type hitch mounted to the frame behind the rear axle. Absolutely no other types of hitches are permitted. Hitch point may be no more than 26" from level ground. Hitch must be stationary in all directions, no trick hitches allowed. Clevis or pulling ring must have 3" diameter hole. Hitch hook point must be the furthest point to the back of the truck, or the first thing that would hit if you backed into a wall !!!!!!



Clutch, transmission, drive shafts and drive-line must be OEM for brand of vehicle and produced for diesel or gas pick-up truck use.



All computer programmers, boxes and chips permitted, air filter required.



Factory turbo, no spacers or adapters permitted, turbo must be mounted directly to manifold.



Absolutely no engine modifications allowed in this class.



Factory exhaust system must be in place and fully functional per OEM design. No straight pipes or stacks allowed. All trucks must have mufflers.



8000 LB. SUPER STOCK DIESEL 4X4 TRUCK

All trucks competing in this class must



a. Not exceed 8000lbs. With driver maximum.



b. Have engine designed for 1 ton or smaller pick-up truck.



c. Use #2 diesel fuel only, no alcohol, nitrous, or propane, all bottles must be removed.



d. Not exceed 158" wheelbase.



e. Have fire extinguisher accessible from the drivers seat.



f. Have current license plate, registration, and insurance card.



g. Driver use seat belts and wear helmet.



h. Have front and rear bumpers.



All types of computer chips and programmer boxes allowed.



One turbo only, must bolt directly to manifold.



Any exhaust allowed, vertical discharge preferred, exhaust must not discharge toward main grandstand area, no open header pipes.



No dual wheels, studded tires, tire chains, or any tire not intended for street use shall be permitted. No grooved or cut tires. All tires must have DOT number on sidewall. 35" maximum tire height.



Air bags and lines to them must be capped and not connected to air tank or compressor, suspension blocks permitted, no welded or rigid rear suspension, traction bars allowed, no chaining down front and rear ends, all suspension must have 2" minimum travel as a working suspension and have at least 3 spring leaves.



All added weight must be placed inside bed of vehicle and secured to prevent sliding around in bed, no weight allowed in cab. Front hanging weights or weight box allowed, not to extend more than 60" from front axle center line, weight must be secured. Tailgate or cargo net required.



Trucks with manual transmission running in excess of 4000 rpm must have S. F. I. blow-proof bell housing or bell housing scatter blanket installed. Automatic transmissions require S. F. I. blanket.



Drive shaft loops recommended for 2005 season and shall be mandatory for 2006 season. Must have one front drive shaft loop, and two loops on rear drive shaft. Remainder of drive train must be OEM for 1 ton or less pick-up truck, no drop boxes or reversers. Axle shields are recommended for the 2005 pulling season, but will be mandatory for the 2006 season.



Hitch requirement:



i. Hitch must be factory or aftermarket designed for towing, special pulling hitches allowed, all hitches must be stationary and rigid in all directions, no connecting hitch to rear axle or suspension, must be frame mounted, no hydraulic hitches, absolutely no pulling from bumper hitches permitted.



j. Must be no more than 26" from level ground.



k. Minimum of 3" ring or clevis opening for hook.



l. Hitch hook point must be the furthest point to the rear of the truck. ,



m. Absolutely no, trick hitches, or transfer hitches allowed.



All trucks must have working brakes, all glass and working windows, and have working doors. Must have tailgate or cargo net in place



13. Air shut-off or kill switch, recommended, but not mandatory for this class.

This is from there club newsletter i got in the mail





"Oct 28th- Benefit fun pull



The club will be holding our 3rd annual benefit fun pull. It will be held in the arena at the west end fair. Both tractors and trucks are welcome.

Track preperation starts @7AM and we would like to start pulling around 10AM. If you can help get the track ready please come out.

No rain date has been officially set, but call teh club info line for info. incase of a rain out.

A $20. 00 donation will get you tickets for two hooks.



Food and refreshments will be available. "
