While changing out my hoses I managed to change the shape of the heater core tubing from round to oval and triangle! I didn't realize how soft they were and was using channel locks to twist the hoses off (stupid, I know).
Anyway, any suggestions on the best way to make them round again or ideas on ways to place some kind of gasket/filler material around then before I install the hoses.
On one of them, the rolled bead that is 1 inch from the end is still round, so I might be able to push the hose of far enough to place a clamp there. The other one has a dent at that bead.
I sure don't want to have to do the "dreaded" heater core replacement! (which I didn't know was "dreaded" until after I bent the tubes)
