best aftermarket air filter

I did a poll a while back on which air filters folks were using but couldn't find it. Last time I saw it K&N was the top choice by a long shot. Did find this poll though.

As for the factory box being restrictive, if your filter minder doesn't move how could it be? If you're up to the hp that it does pull down just hole saw a few holes in it.



The tdr mag air filter article still has me puzzled, someone explain how an aFe can flow more air than no filter at all.

A friend of mine gave me a K&N to try. He went with some other set up. Have not done it yet. But does anyone know if it will fit coming from his 1995 cdt to my 2002 ctd?
