On my 01, DodgeRam.Org had a set of alignment specs that were great. Never had an issue using those specs in over 375,000 miles and many sets of tires, they wore great routinely got 55-60k+ out of set of tires. My 17 has crappy alignment and just haven't got around to doing it yet. However it is time and just wondering if anyone has good specs to use besides just the range that is in the alignment machine computer. Since new the right front wears the outside shoulder significantly more than the left front and the rears are fine. The left front does wear the outside shoulder as well but not nearly as bad the right front. Just wanting to go armed to the alignment tech with the specs I want it set at.

No idea about SRW trucks but the DRW's will have outside edge stepping if the OE spec of 1/4" Toe is maintained. Two DRW's now and using 1/64-1/32 toe will cure the stepping. I ONLY rotate the fronts leaving the wheels in their same location but moving tires side to side keeping rotation the same.

So dismount/mount? I've noticed my front tires on my '18 are doing the same with only not quite 13K on them. Will use these specs to hopefully straighten things out. Planning on having the fronts put on the inside rears and inside rears to front. Rears are wearing fine.

Yes dismount. This leaves the pressure sensor on the correct side. Basically the inside of the tire will be on the outside.

Mine wear perfectly like this.

You can swap front n rear if u want but fronts will even out properly aligned.

Aedelheit thanks for the specs, appreciate it. I did some other research on the net the other day right after I posted the question and ran across more or less the same specs in a few other places one place being Thuren's website. https://www.thurenfabrication.com/tech/alignment-and-handling.html

Was glad to see that there does seem to be at least some consensus on what they should be from a few different sources. As long as they are better than what came on the truck I will be happy. I do rotate my tires but I will admit I did get lazy on this truck probably because my old truck did so well if I rotated my tires once or twice over the life of the tire they were good as there was so little difference in wear pattern and would get 55-60k per set, this one not so much. Hoping to get an alignment within the next week, new tires going on tonight.

Thanks again all for the info

Just to mention it.

I do not know why RAM sticks with that stupid alignment specs that date back to the ol Y-Steering linkage that changed toe in at every bump in the road.

A T-Steering on a heavy weight vehicle is always and ever set to almost dead Zero, everything else gives bad road manors and weak tire life.

Back then I was shocked when I saw first that OEM specs.
