What have you used and how have they worked and lasted, I have a leaky rear seal and need to redo the whole thing back there. What about front pads? best results?
TIA

John, Get yourself some Raybestos Super Stop brake pads. They are a fleet duty pad that work extremely well with our trucks. They also have rear brake shoes as well. Keep those rear shoes manually adjusted every oil change. Since your going to have everything apart anyway, head down to NAPA and get yourself a set of 3500 rear wheel cylinders. I've tried Mopar pads, they suck. Performance Friction Carbon Metallic pads, stopped great but didn't last too long (22,000 miles). Super Stop pads still looking good with 37,000 miles on them. -Glen

I'm with Glen, the Raybestos shoes have been great. I used the PG Plus (I think that's what they were) and have been very happy with them. I did not install the 3500 wheel cylinders, but wish I would have now. Oh well maybe next time.

Can you guys tell me if the wheel cylinders will be a direct replacement? Can you also tell me where to order the raybestos shoes from.
Thanks

The wheel cylinders bolt right on from what I have been reading and the Raybestos shoes are a stock item at Pepboys as are the wheel cylinders for $11. 99 ea.
