Best brakes

I have a 1999 2500 4X4 5-speed with 60K. I am getting close to needing new brakes, any suggestions on which to get? I haul an 8 ft Lance camper and pull a four horse trailer (no exhaust brake)which aftermarket pads and shoes work best? How about synthetic fluid?

I installed the Auto Zone Performance carbon metalic, at about $45. The hotter they get the better they hold. Great for mountain towing. They also have calipers,hoses, yada yada..... Check em out on line at www.autozone.com

There are some high dollar pads that have a kevlar composition. Don't know a source for them.
