I am thinking of getting a bug guard or whatever they're called to help protect against chips in the paint. My truck already has a bunch and I would like to cover them up. I am wondering what your experiences are with them as far as install, quality, and looks. Which is best?

you might want to get one from DC. The one my father-in-law purchased rubbed his paint off (the one that attaches between the grill and the hood).

The one I purchased from DC fits and doesn't rub the paint.

I haven't had any trouble with paint coming off and I have one that goes between hood and grill.

The reason I did not get the Mopar one is I like to see the chrome of the whole grill and the Mopar one covers the top part of the grill and the Ram emblem. Just my preference, everybody has there own taste.

I've got a Lund Interceptor. The middle sandwiches between the hood and grille, but the important bit is the side deflectors mount solidly with some screws (no drilling required) unlike every other one I could find that was taped or velcroed or whatevered on (flaps in the breeze).

Wish I had gotten it sooner.
