Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Best Buy on Power Steering Hoses??

hey guys... just found my lower (lo-pressure return?) power steering hose leaking pretty good... it appears to be coming from the fitting,any idea who has the best price on this litte gem???



im heading out for upstate NY wednesday nite,and would like to replace/repair before then ... . thanks in advance... . tom

Any auto parts or tractor dealer that makes up hydraulic hose can do it for you. You'll have to remove your existing one to show them what you need.

I paid around $10 for one from Napa last year.

Be sure to route the hose correctly when you put the new one back on. My 99 Ram w/v-10 came from the factory with the return hose routed ABOVE the supply line, and was cut up by the fan. Make sure you route this line below the supply line. It's no fun loosing power steering on a Friday afternoon at a busy intersection.

I also got mine from a custom hose shop way cheaper than Dodge, big surprise right?
