Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Best Deal for NV 4500

I'm in need of a rebuilt nv 4500 with fully splined mainshaft. Its for a friend and he doesn't want to lay down $4k for the TorqueKing

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Both our trucks havet Standard Trans, Transmissions. Did the wifes truck last fall, I carried the transmission down to Fort Worth, they pulled it down to determine what it needed, then priced me a ready to go unit off the shelf that reflected what it would cost to get ours rebuilt.



I saved about $300 off of the normal shelf price. Have only good things to say about the folks and there work.
