Anyone know where I can get the best deal on genuine Sachs 13" clutch? I can't find the seller on ebay that had them awhile back. I swallowed my gum when I seen Quad4x4's price on one:eek: . I know our trucks parts are not cheap, but I'd love to find one in the $400 price range. This will be the clutch for my crew cab. Also anyone give me a ballpark price on flywheel resurface job? That is I take it one doesn't get a new one with a stock Sachs clutch purchase as you do with a South Bend Clutch purchase. Thanks.

Most of the Sachs clutches you find have the low-line organic facing, not the premium facing.

What does this mean, the new Sachs are not identical to the ones installed way back when 89-93?

just that Sachs has a premium facing that minimizes the shuddering and jumping on backing up that occurs with the cheaper facing that Dodge used and Sachs usually uses.

There was a guy in Orlando listing the Sachs clutches but I didn't save the link. His price seemed too good to be true at the time. Any one have that link?

well I bought one from him off ebay and it holds up just fine, but does shudder in reverse. I haven't had any problems with it slipping, it's real strong. sachs 13" all the way. I got it for I think 426 shipped. the user 1locomotive bought one of these off him on ebay as well. you can ask him but from all I've heard from him he says it runs out great.
