Water Heater Woes !

Ok, I am a new owner that also has a great website that came in handy with my first stealer visit. No sense in going into the details of my first time visit inthis thread, but wanted to let you know that I have a website, www.sendacrap.com that came in real handy after that experience. I sent everyone there one of my 'packages'. Hope I can help out anyone else, as I will be asking for your help in the near future with my new bone stock, Mexico fresh, 2001. 5 QC. Don't say it with flowers, say it with ****.

Thanks and see you soon

I have got a question. Which stealer did you have a problem with. I am not too far from you and want a heads up.

Thanx, tom

This is GREAT

Seafood,

This could come in very handy some day. I this this is a great idea. There are a few people that I can think of that deserve a baggie of your finest crap.

:D :D :D

Isn't America great? Where else can you make a living selling dog stuff? I'd like to see an infomertial for it on TV.

tgbol, I shouldn't really say who it was, Del Amo Dodge, they might see this post as well, so better keep it quiet, Del Amo Dodge. In all seriousness, they suck, didn't buy from them, I bought from my buddy's fleet dealer from Perris Valley Dodge, but that is too far for service. I have heard great things about the dealer in Long Beach, their name escapes me right now. I work in Santa Monica, do you know of any decent stealers between Long Beach and Santa Monica?

I bought mine from Glenn Thomas in Long Beach. I have had nothing but excellent service on a few warantee items. I have taken my truck in without an appointment for a bad window switch, went next door to eat breakfast and the truck was back in front waiting for me.

They had to order a console hinge assembly for me. The truck was there on Monday, Wednesday I left for Utah. About an hour out of Vegas the cell phone rings. It is the service manager wanting to schedule the repair when I got back.

As for buying parts. I work for DWP and we have a contract with them for parts. The parts manager lets me buy my parts at the department price.

lol that website's service really does work, a bunch of people in my dorm chipped in and bought "the lawn bomb" for our RD:D Boy was that was a Kodak moment when he opend it up. Oo.

Its alittle bit farther than LB, but huntington beach dodge bent over backwards for me. I had three of my buddies go there after my good experiance and they got better deals than me:eek:

Great sales there. service center need to pick up the pace, cause they are kinda slow, but overall 4/5 stars

Would you look at that, a satisfied customer is a TDR member, what a great small world we live in. I love the truck, the only issue so far is the steering, of which I have read numerous threads about. And after reading that people all across this great nation of ours are, for the most part, having problems with service, I am frightened as a little school girl about even changing the radio stations that the factory set in fear that it will void my warranty. But I will be hitting you guys up in the near future for help in getting my truck to where it is supposed to be, not factory specs.

And thanks for the heads up about the delaers, anhy info is helpful in dealing with them, thanks guys.

seafood,

I had much better luck with Cerritos Dodge on warranty issues than Glen E Thomas in Long Beach. I was hung up on by Adrian (the service mgr who does DieselFest) and he stonewalled me for getting the DC zone rep involved. I was very happy with Cerritos Dodge after my terrible service experience at GET Dodge.

Union Dodge

Union Dodge in Garden Grove is also a great place for sales and especially Service. Anthony in the service dept. is really good with cutomer care.

I have heard real bad things about HB dodge for there service.

Ramon- I don't know exactly who you dealt with at HB Dodge, but I have had quite the oppossite experience there. I know their service tech there and he has done me well every time I've needed help. Two dealers I will NOT ever spend a dime at are Union Dodge- who treated my wife HORRIBLY RUDE when servicing our caravan, and McPeek Dodge of Anaheim- they don't know what a truck looks like let alone how to fix one!!!

Dealers

I guess it just comes down to hitting them on their good days. I never dealt with HB Dodge, just read their reviews on dodge ram .org last year. I hope your wife spoke to the sales manager about her experience. There is absolutely no reason to treat us rudely as we are going there to buy $35k vehicles. My sales guy (Charles M. ) called me when they had a weekend sale and saved me $6000 on my HO. He saved me from buying used 99 PSD the next day for the same price. I am sure that most dealers have good people, they just need to be good all the time.

Seafood - Your name doesn't seem to fit your occupation. I like your post, but you're one stride away from stepping in it :) I'm throwing this into the "Other" forum with some of the crap that I post, where it belongs.
