I need to fix my FSS wire from popping off while driving. Last night the little wire to my FSS popped off 3 times in 10 miles. Its starting to bug me. I need to find a better solution for that plastic connector. I was wondering what kind of solutions everyone has discovered. Pictures would be awesome. :-laf I can't imagine life without TDR. I'm sure there has been many people stranded all because of one little wire shuts their engine down.

If you can't crimp the connector a little and get it to hold, just replace it with a standard female blade connector. I have had to do all mine when they broke.

You can put me on that list... and that was back before I knew much about these motors, so I didn't realize how simple the problem was and had my truck towed home. :-laf

I'm planning on running a new wire for mine. The existing one is in sad shape... I'll probably rig up a kill switch at the same time. :D

Most people crimp on a regular eyelet, then remove the nut and screw it directly on the solenoid. Can't come loose that way. ;)

Yes that isn't rocket science it's an easy fix. A standard fix for any problem related to a loose connector
