i had a 99 with a 2" leveling and it rubbed with only 33's

I have run 285/75/r16's on mine stock with no rubbing at all, they're still on it now. I put a set of 315's on it last summer for a few months, but I was scared of the tires flexing under the load of the trailer I haul, I would have left them on. (20,000 lb gooseneck), They would every so often touch, but only when fully turned and hitting a bump like a curb edge or speed bump in a parking lot. I run stock rims, if you have aftermarket rims, maybe that's your reason you rub? The metric tire sizes are slightly narrower than the inch measured tires of the same static height. (a 285 is a 34" tire, 315 is a 35. 5" tires etc).

If you really want to lift it, go for a kit that addresses the caster correction, don't just stick spacers in it, that's when the death wobbles start in on these trucks. I was a big fan of the Dick Cepek dodge kits, (used to install them and align them) but I don't know who bought up the kit when Cepek went under. Super lift maybe? Make sure the kit comes with longer control arms, and relocation brackets to change the pivot points.

I have a 99 w/285/75/16 BFG MT's on 16 x 8 eagle alloys and no rub even on the alum. running boards. Just got a set of 35" Geolander MT's and was also wondering how to make them fit. Every lev kit i see seems to make the front look higher than the back.

Kore makes a nice leveling kit I run the 285s on the stock aluminum rims and they have never rubbed. Kore has a full kit called the pace its the leveling kit with some rear leaf spring mini packs and shocks . Im not sure if that changes the rear hight . Im planing on running the leveling kit with some 315s (35s)thats what there kit was designed for :)

I am going with the KORE chase pkg. If its half as good as I've heard it should be most impressive. Little pricey but if you don't feel wash board it's worth every penny. Also option of 37" tires _________________________________ 99 5spd qc 4x4, DD 3 jammers,Quadzilla box,4" magnaflow ex,KN cone filter,BD aux pump. It costs to be cool,it costs LOTS to be really cool.

i have had 2 trucks now with death wobble right after installing 2" puck only. 1st was a brand new 3rd gen. 2nd is my 97. . like said above do longer control arms etc and longer shocks i would do the double set up. that is what i am going for right now

I have the KORE Pace kit and love the ride it gave me, BUT at full lock with 315's on my stock wheels I get rubbing on my lower control arms. Probably going to try 305's on the next set of tires.

I just (like 20 minutes ago) got My 315 Buckshots put on- they scrub on the control arm a bit when cornering and bumping, but That is okay- They Look REAL Cool  I'm pleased with the ride, 'll probably end up with a Leveling kit beacuse I'm not a big fan of the Factory Rake

I've run 315 A/T's on mine with no rub, the Muds are usually a little bigger due to the lugs on the tread. Don't worry though, the muds rarely hold up to the torque of these trucks, they'll peel down to fit without rubbing in short order. :D

Runnin' 305/85R16s Denman Coyotes on stock rims, no lift. Ever so slight rub on back of inner fenders on turns & on upper controls when cranked. Rides great. Wearin' good. Have about 65K so far on tires. Will probably go to 19. 5"s from Rickson when we replace them. They were 36. 25" tall when new.

Kore is developing control arms that will eliminate the rubbing you mention.
