Best mod price wise

I am wondering what is the best mod or mods for around $1000-1500? I am open to computers and mechanical upgrades. Thanks much

For an electronic module TST makes a very nice product for all out power. If you are looking for something a little more inexpensive the van Aaken C3. 2 with Rokktech sensor works very well.

Gauges first, pyro/boost at a minimum. You cannot go wrong with a TST, once you start with that, you will be set for any other upgrade you care to do. The TST has the potential to grow with your truck, and both gauges and TST will be about $1000. 00.

Just my opinion, there should be more forth coming! hope that helps.

I can get some electronics close to wholesale through our work in particular the juice with attitude I have been looking at but I do not know if I should go the way of mechanical upgrades. to start with.

The Juice W/ Attitude is a nice product. It isn't as nice as a TST but they do make some pretty nice power.

Does anyone know the percentage of guys that can stop modding at a mild pressure box?? I know I couldn't!!!

That should get all of your $1500 and you will have a great running truck.

I'll vote for the Edge Attitude. Get the hot version and you can go wild later when you upgrade everything else. I prefer the display over the analog gauges and it's much easier to install than the analogs.



If you're going for looks alone, you can't beat a nice set of wheels and tires.

That should put you around $1,300, and keep your truck ultra reliable while not requiring gauges.

once you start its hard to stop---it gets addictive, but its alot of fun!!!!!!!! :-laf :-laf :-laf

All of these are great suggestions, But, Think about down the road, You don't want to spend your money twice, Don't skimp the first time. As for myself and a lot of others, it's tough to stop once you get started!!

Real Mods

I suggest under body armor. I installed a custom fuel tank skid plate and a front hitch that doubles as a skid plate for all of the coolers up front. All the HP/torque in the world wont do you any good if your #2 is leaking out of a split in your tank or if you crush the radiator on a rock. Of course if you never use 4x4, go ahead and BOMB away.

Thank you guys for the comments so far they are great! I currently have a exaust system I like which is dual 5" stacks with the muffler gone I still have the cat, and I have the BHAF and the intake is gutted completely. I am going for performance enhancements I already feel i have to many visual ones lol, but I am definitely going to have to look into gauges, so is the analog just cooler to look at but harder to install? and with these upgrades how is my clutch going to be? THanks for all the great advice.
