Best place to buy '04 Throttle Position Sensor? auto transmission

As the title suggests... need to find a APPS/Throttle position sensor for an '04 3/4 ton 2x4 pretty darn fast.

My son needs to leave San Diego and head to Atlanta, GA this weekend and his APPS is very touchy just off the bottom. It is driving his wife crazy and she won't trust the truck out the driveway.

So, for piece of mind, he wants a new one under the seat.

He checked OEM at $600, and found one locally at $500.

Is that the best we can do?

I'm searching the net, but so far, nothing solid.

If its a manual then what oyu have found is what there is.

Timbo's site says it works with manuals though.



"This aftermarket sensor is a direct bolt on replacement for 98. 5-03 some 04,works on auto or manual, and comes with the adapter harness. "

SOME 04's with a manual trans. . If the APPS is on the engine then it will work. Not sure about under the battery tray though. I think thats the problem one.
