Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) best place to buy a lift pump?

I want a lift pump for a spare, is this a dealer item only? What alternatives do I have? I know there's lots and lots of advise on lift pumps but I'm kind of a new comer and am not sure what the best route is to go, pusher pump? just replace the lift pump with OEM? or what? I'd like to here opinions.

Cummins

It is not a dealer only item. The best place, that I know of is Cummins. They run about $140. 00. Much more at the dealer.

I'd Second Cummins...

I bought mine a little over a year ago from Cummins. The part number then was 3990105 (August 2001) and the price was about $110. What does it cost from the dealer?

I bought mine from the local Freightliner dealer--they were 20 bucks cheaper than Cummins...

dealer wants about $210. I'll try to find freightliner or cummins online, no dealers around me, thanks for the info guys.
